Establiments D'OR website

The "Establiment D'OR" quality label was created to provide consumers with a list of food establishments where all the quality products from the Balearic Islands can be found.

The state-owned company, Servei de Millora Agrària S.A, actively promotes a number of quality agri-products, all of them from the Balearic Islands,  which have been approved to be of the highest quality. The company promotes these local products as products which have been grown or prepared in the Balearic Islands in the proper manner.

The "Establiment D'OR" quality label distinguishes all establishments offering all these quality agri-foodstuffs, therefore identifying these establishments as places where you can get quality, traditional Balearic produce.

To get the right to use the "Establiment D'OR" quality label, establishments are subjected to an audit to make sure they fulfil the terms of the Regulation. They will also be subjected to periodical audits to check they are fulfilling the requirements.

The establishments authorised to use the "Establiment D'OR" quality label can be gourmet food shops, shops specialising in wines and spirits, hotels or restaurants.

You should be able to identify the 'Establiments d'OR' or 'Golden Establishments' by a plaque with the logo displayed either inside or outside the establishment.
