Description A new way of thinking about chocolate has arrived in Palma; a company dedicated to chocolate and products derived from cocoa, Xocoa. The business was born in Barcelona when a family of master sweet makers decided to specialise in chocolate in 1994 and after having studied the art of chocolate-making launched a dedicated company with the aim of injecting vitality into the world of chocolate in Spain. At their small factory in Barcelona the Xocoa family hand makes all the chocolates, chocolate bars and cocoa products that are sold at the specialised Xocoa shops.
Miguel and Elena decided that Palma deserved a Xocoa shop and opened their boutique in the centre of Palma at the end of 2008. It has been a success from the start. Both Miguel and Elena have spent time in the chocolate factory in Barcelona and are able to explain how each variety of chocolate is made. You will find every variation of chocolate you can think of as well as a wide range of gifts and accessories for all choc-a-holics. Xocoa can be enjoyed using all five senses; the products on offer include shower gel, body cream, candles, soaps and even a chocolate bar containing edible 23 carat gold!
