Description
The gourmet restaurant Vista de Rey is found in the newly refurbished Blue Bay Galatzó in Peguera. Enjoy fabulous views of the sea and the Sierra de Tramuntana mountain range from the romantic terrace - the ambience is a perfect complement to the gastronomic delights created by executive chef Jens Bräuning and his team.

Jens Bräuning has been working with his sous chef Claudio Bonomelli for many years now and together they have revamped the Menu at the Blue Bay Galatzó and the Vista de Rey Restaurant. On the menu you will find a range of mediterranean delights, including some Italian specialities and Asian touches; all dishes have a solid classical base, and are beautifully presented.

Hotel in Mallorca
The Blue Bay Galatzó with four stars occupies a privileged location on the top of a hill between Santa Ponsa and Peguera in the South West of Mallorca. The hotel is surrounded by gardens and enjoys magnificent views. Paguera beach is just 2.5 km away from the hotel and the city of Palma is 15 minutes away by car. The hotel has a total of 169 rooms, including 'Comfort' rooms, Junior Suites and Family rooms. There are five tennis courts, two swimming pools and a luxury Spa.

Starters - Tuna sashimi with warm potato-curry salad; Sautéed foie gras of duck with apricot marmelade and raspberry vinegar; Open raviolo of scallops, lobster and basil sauce; Risotto of white asparagus from Navarra

Main Courses - Crispy red mullet with avocado and crustacean sauce; Slice of turbot with prawn crust and thick saffron-orange broth; 'Presa ibérica' with celeriac purée and pearl onion sauce; Duck breast oriental style with sautéed vegetables and red currant sauce; Mallorcan loin of lamb with black olive crust and potato emulsion

Desserts -  Dark chocolate in three modes; Gelatine of carrots with lavender ice-cream; 'Casar' cake with pine nuts and apple jam

Services
The Vista de Rey Restaurant can cater for groups of up to 50 people within the restaurant and 120 around the adjoining swimming pool. The Blue Bay Galatzó offers a very wide range of services for banqueting and conference events in Mallorca. All catering is headed by the hotel's executive chef, Jens Bräuning
