Guests can partake of the á la carte and weekly changing menus, created with attention to detail, balance and culinary creativity. The cuisine at Son Julia is best described as 'Mediterranean and fresh from the market'. Another element is purity; combining few and key ingredients in order to produce the best combination and taste of a certain dish.

Every Tuesday and Friday night, Son Julia organises a Barbecue or Paella night in restaurant Son Julia Grill. Here you can enjoy a large selection of fresh Mediterranean fish and meat every Tuesday, and real Spanish paella every Friday evening. Price per person: €35 (excl. drinks and 7% VAT)

Hotel in Llucmajor, Majorca
This historical 15th-century mansion in Mallorca has now become the Gran Hotel Son Julia. It is situated in a truly remarkable location overlooking the surrounding countryside. Located close to Palma and the Mediterranean Sea, this peaceful mansion has been beautifully restored into a splendid luxury hotel of five stars, keeping intact wherever possible the original features. Its 25 spacious rooms and impressive suites welcome discerning guests together with state-of-the-art facilities.

Starters - Grilled scallops with citrus fruits, mango and lime Chutney; Avocado salad with lettuce, dried tomato vinaigrette and crispy Parmesan cheese

Pasta & Risotto - Parmesan cheese and green asparagus risotto with 'Girgolas' mushrooms and carrot foam
Spinach risotto with vegetables roll and herbs salad

Main courses - Grilled beef sirloin with green asparagus in brick pastry, grilled potatoes and foie gras sauce; Rack of lamb with olives crust, 'Pisto Manchego' of vegetables, gnocchi and thyme sauce 

Desserts - Chocolate Couland with orange centre, white chocolate sauce and orange sorbet; Majorcan almond cake with almond sauce and ice cream

Other facilities
Banqueting facilities available for exclusive, and non-exclusive events at the hotel. There are a variety of attractive areas for aperitifs, dinner, drinks and dance which can be adapted to individual preferences. These areas are the beautiful Orange Patio, the Pool Terrace of Son Julia Grill Restaurant, the Arabic Salón Oriental and many more.

It is also possible to have ceremonies in the beautiful Chapel on the premises, or in any other part of the hotel such as the 300 year old garden or near the pool. The Chapel sits up to 20 people inside, and 20 more can be accommodated just outside.

Some of the function rooms:
Salón Las Bóvedas - Has a maximum capacity of up to 130 and for cocktail receptions 225 persons. Oriental Salon - Maximum capacity 100 people and for receptions up to 180 people (includes the terrace). Terrace Oriental Salon - Maximum capacity 80 people. For larger groups, please consult with the events department at the hotel.
