Description
The restaurant at Son Amoixa Vell Hotel in Manacor invites you to enjoy a fresh Mediterranean and Mallorcan cuisine, prepared with great care and  the best products by chef Bruno Schulze. This 500 year old country estate which has been converted into a comfortable four star rural hotel, also has its own almond, fig, orange and lemon trees, as well as a great variety of herbs, all of which are used in the preparation of the tasty dishes. At Son Amoixa Vell you can dine 'a la carte' or choose a 3 course daily menu. The lovely terrace, surrounded by the gardens of this country estate, is an ideal place to enjoy good food and soak in the country atmosphere under the Mediterranean sky.

Son Amoixa Vell Rural Hotel  is located in a country estate that is 500 years old and is surrounded by 200,000 square meters of land where almond, fig, orange and lemon trees are grown. It offers 10 double rooms, 2 junior suites, 2 suites and an apartment, all of which are fully equipped with all the modern conveniences. Apart from the 'a la carte' restaurant' there is a sauna, solarium, fitness room, massage treatments, swimming pool and tennis court. It is a real oasis of tranquility, just 8 minutes from the beach and 15 minutes from the nearest golf course.

Starters and Pasta - King prawns cocktail on a salad of  mango, papaya and melon; Beef fillet carpaccio with chopped garlic, rocket and Parmesan cheese; Spaghetti with prawns, garlic and herbs



Fish and Meat Dishes - Salmon medallions with spinach in Pappardelle and white wine sauce; Back of Tuna on grilled vegetables; Grilled guinea fowl stuffed with a terrine of foie gras on a reduction of muscatel wine with sautéed gnocchis and sage; Loin of lamb baked in the oven with Majorcan potatoes, rosemary sauce and Mediterranean vegetables

Desserts - Chocolate ice cream on black chocolate pie with sauce of nuts of berries; Terrine of lemon caramelized with cane sugar and strawberries marinated in mint
