Directions Hotel Hospes Maricel is located 5 kms from the old town of Palma and 2 kms from Puerto Portals on Carretera d'Andratx, 300 metres from the sailing harbour Calanova. From the motorway to Andratx take exit Bendinat-Illetes, after the tunnel at the roundabout, take exit Palma - Cas Catala; after the traffic lights straight on and after 500 mtrs you'll find the hotel entrance on the right-hand side.

In January 2004, Hospes Maricel was recognised as having The Best Breakfast in the World at Madrid Fusion: the International Summit of Gastronomy held every year in the Spanish capital. Hotel in Majorca The Hospes Maricel, a luxurious hotel of five stars, was built in 1948. It re-opened in September 2002 after being abandoned for 15 years. Refurbishments were led by designer Xavier Claramunt who aimed to maintain intact the genuine spirit of the building. It offers 29 rooms, decorated in a modern and contemporary style.
