Description The new Safra 21 Restaurant in Ciudad Jardin presents two concepts in one. At lunch time the restaurant opens as a Rice restaurant, serving the rice dishes the Mayol family has been renowned for, for more than 20 years. The menu includes all the classic rice dishes as well as some innovative and different creations. At night, the restaurant is transformed into the first 'Bistronomic' establishment in Mallorca. The 'Bistronomic' concept combines high end cuisine with prices that are good value for money. The chef at Safra 21 is Bernabe Caravotta and his dishes will surprise even the most sophisticated of pallets, as will their price. Enjoy his five course gastronomic menu which changes weekly for €25.

Tasting Menus. The Restaurant serves a different Bistronomic tasting menu every week. There is no a la carte menu in the evenings. The Tasting menu consists of 5 courses for €25 per person (excluding drinks and tax)

Samples from the menu From the Rice menu (only served at lunch time): Starters - Home-made toast of black olives and rosemary with oven-vegetables and anchovies; Salad with gratinated goats cheese and tomato jam with vanilla flavour; Grilled fresh vegetables flavoured with truffle oil
Rice dishes - Mixed Paella (without shells and bones); Black rice; Fideuà of fine pasta with calamari and cubes of fresh fish; Creamy rice with artichokes and saffron alioli; Rice with bouillon with lobster and octopus
Fish and Meats - Sea and earth of sea bass and ragout of French beans, black and white Butiffara with mushrooms; Suckling pig filled with truffles and Foie with pure of Porreras apricots
Desserts - Chocolate coulant with creamy ice cream; Salad of citric fruit with green cardamom, anis, Vodka and vanilla ice cream; Iced toffee parfait with gingerbread and Amaretto ice cream
Example of a Bistronomic Tasting Menu (only served in the evenings, changes weekly): Warm cream of leak soup, lightly smoked; Free range egg with herb carbonara and truffle aroma; Caramelised duck lollipops with salad and red fruit chutney; Indian tandoori with cod and cous-cous; Confit of pork with apricot purée; Rosemary foam with vanilla ice cream and apples
Other facilities There is a separate room available for private meals and parties of up to 30 people. The restaurant can cater for groups of up to 80 people. Safrà 21 operates a home delivery service based on their rice menu.
Wine List The wine list is based on a large number of Mallorcan wines and has more than 30 references in total.
