Restaurants in Deia (Deia Restaurants)
The quaint and scenic village of Deya was perhaps first made famous thanks to the fact that successful British poet Robert Graves made it his home. A visit to this beautiful village is enough to understand why a poet such as Graves would find it inspirational to his work. The village is now home to many artists and an increasingly mixed variety of people and has managed to cater to its increasing popularity through an eclectic mix of superb restaurants.
For truly Spanish fare try the El Barrigon Restaurant or for something more Mallorcan try Jaume Restaurant. Sebastian Restaurant offers a fusion style cuisine using fresh local products. The rural hotel Sa Pedrissa a little way out of the village is the place to go for a quiet and relaxed Mediterranean meal. The luxury hotel La Residencia owned by the Orient Express Hotels offers one of the most gourmet experiences on the island at the El Olivo Restaurant in the capable hands of Chef Guillermo Mendez.
