Description
Located at the Sheraton Mallorca - Arabella Golf Hotel of five stars in Son Vida, Majorca. Plat d'Or restaurant offers Mediterranean cuisine with Mallorcan influences created by Rafa Sánchez. This restaurant held a Michelin star for seven consecutive years and its Chef is one of the finest in Mallorca.

The decor and ambience at Plat d'Or Restaurant has been recently updated to make it more comfortable and welcoming to guests. The restaurant has been redocorated but the kitchen still offers elaborate cuisine based on local Balearic produce. 'Our priority is that our cuisine must always be fresh as well as accesible to everyone,' says chef Rafa Sanchez.

The hotel has an ongoing agreement with local cooperatives and producers so that it can always feature the best local ingredients in its culinary creations. Rafael Sánchez presents yearly workshops at the El Corte Ingles department store in Palma on the subject of the Mallorcan ensaimada. He also runs workshops at public schools on the island teaching children how to make homemade and natural sweets.

During the summer months enjoy the relaxing terrace with views over the golf course of Son Vida.

Directions
From the airport take the highway towards Palma. After about 5 kms change to the Via de Cintura. Proceed for about 7 km until the exit 'Son Rapinya'. Turn right and come to a roundabout. At the roundabout proceed straight ahead through the suburb of Son Rapinya for about 1 km. After Son Rapinya pass Son Muntaner Golf course. After 2 km you will see the sign for the hotel and at the next roundabout in front of the clubhouse of Son Vida Golf turn left. After 500 m you will reach the hotel.
