Patxi Castellano ingresó en la escuela de hostelería de Vitoria cuando tenía 18 años, y cuando salió se había convertido en un apasionado de la cocina.  Tras trabajar en varios restaurantes en su ciudad natal, Vitoria, y tras representar a su comunidad autónoma en una feria internacional en Londres, montó se propio establecimiento, un exitoso local especializado en pinchos y tapas. Cuatro años más tarde se mudó a Mallorca en busca de nuevas experiencias.

En Mallorca ha sabido combinar su creatividad y conocimientos del mundo del pincho y las tapas para trabajar en varios establecimientos conocidos en Palma; el RKO y Making Tapas entre otros. Ahora Patxi es el jefe de cocina de los Restaurantes Tast donde diseña pinchos y tapas de autor. 'La presentación es primordial, así como el disfrute del cliente', dice Patxi, 'y me encanta reconstruir recetas tradicionales para hacer pinchos originales y deliciosos.'



Patxi Castellano began studying at the School of Hotel Management and Catering in Vitoria when he was 18. By the time he finished his degree, he had become passionate about cooking. After working at various restaurants in his native city, Vitoria, as well as representing his region at an international fair in London, he set up his own establishment, a successful restaurant specializing in 'pinchos' and tapas. Four years later he moved to Mallorca in search of new experiences.

In Mallorca Patxi has used his creativity and knowledge of the world of tapas and ‘pinchos' to work at various well known establishments in Palma; RKO and Making Tapas for example. Now Patxi is the Chef at the Tast Restaurants where he designs signature pinchos and tapas. 'Presentation is key, as is the customer's enjoyment', says Patxi, 'and I love using traditional recipes to create original and tasty pinchos.'
