On March 26 2010, the new CAPPUCCINO GRAND CAFÉ opened its doors in the PASEO DEL BORNE, an emblematic location in Palma. An original work of art designed by Michael Smith, the American decorator recently chosen by Barack Obama, president of the United States, and his wife Michelle, to redecorate the interior of the White House. Smith is famous in his country as the 'designer of the stars', having decorated - amongst others - the mansions of Cindy Crawford, Dustin Hoffman, Bruce Springsteen and George Clooney.
The founder-owner of CAPPUCCINO GRAND CAFÉ, Juan Picornell, and Michael Smith's right-hand person for this project, Californian Maria Trimbell, the creator of the frescos that decorate the walls, were present at the press conference.

El 26 de marzo de 2010 abrió sus puertas el nuevo CAPPUCCINO GRAND CAFÉ en el PASEO DEL BORNE, el lugar más emblemático de Palma. Una auténtica obra de arte diseñada por Michael Smith, el decorador estadounidense recientemente elegido por Barack Obama, presidente de Estados Unidos, y su esposa Michelle para redecorar las dependencias de la Casa Blanca. Smith es conocido en su país como el 'diseñador de las estrellas', ya que ha decorado, entre otras, las mansiones de Cindy Crawford, Dustin Hoffman, Bruce Springsteen y George Clooney.
