Cuisine • Fish • Mallorcan • Market Description The original building, now the restaurant, is about 120 years old and still retains its rustic charm with views of the mountains. Located in the center of the picturesque little village of Estellencs, restaurant Montimar ('mountain and sea'), was established under owner and chef Guillermo more than 20 years ago. The menu is a culmination of his many years' experience in the restaurant business - so there is 'something to delight everyone's tastebuds'. Guillermo follows traditional Mallorcan recipes, making sure the dishes are always well presented with a touch of sophistication. This is a place for those who want to discover something a 'little bit different', for instance, enjoy home-made jams made with fruits from the garden, and the three white house wines which are produced from the native Malvasia grapes grown in the family's vineyard - Ambarí - a young wine, Ambrat - aged for 6 months in barrel and Ambrassi - a sweet wine which is a great accompaniment to the delicious home-made desserts one finds here. All three are for sale at the restaurant.

Directions Montimar is in the main street of the village of Estellencs. Average Price 3 courses €25-35 (including wine & tax) Specialty Traditional Mallorcan cuisine. Everything is prepared with the finest products. Fresh fish from Mallorca, and meats from the region. Produce home-made jams (figs, lemons & plums from the garden), house white wine 'Ambari', ice creams, desserts and 'Hierbas' (herbal liqueur).
