Desde que empezó ayudando a su madre en la cocina de la cafetería que llevaban sus padres, Mercedes ha disfrutado cocinando. Tras muchas horas de trabajo en varias cocinas pasó a trabajar como jefe de cocina en los fogones del restaurante Son Termens durante tres años. También estuvo de segunda de cocina en el Restaurante Bahía Mediterráneo, en el Restaurante La Cuchara y en el Restaurante Samovar, donde trabajó junto a Xisco Martorell. Le gusta experimentar con cosas nuevas para que sus platos esten en constante evolución y ahora en Molt de Gust disfruta sorprendiendo a sus clientes con sus creaciones siempre frescas y creativas.
Ever since she started helping her mother in the kitchen of their family run cafeteria, Mercedes has enjoyed cooking. After many hours of hard work in different kitchens, she became Head Chef at Son Termens Restaurant where she worked for three years. She has also worked as Sous Chef at Bahía Mediterráneo Restaurant, La Cuchara Restaurant and Samovar Restaurant where she worked with Xisco Martorell. Mercedes enjoys experimenting with new things so that her cuisine is in constant evolution and as Head Chef and Owner at Molt de Gust she delights in surprising her customers with new fresh and creative dishes.
