Marc Canalis i Pellicer nació en Barcelona. Sus primeras nociones de cocina y colaboraciones veraniegas fueron en el restaurante familiar, La Taberna del Mar en S'Agaró (Gerona) donde la cocina se basa en el marisco y pescado del Mediterráneo y del Cantábrico con un recetario fiel a la cocina de los pescadores. 

Después se incorpora en restaurantes de prestigio y con estrella Michelin en Barcelona y San Sebastián, trabajando entre otros, con Josep Bullich en La Dama, Jean Luis Neichel, y en el Restaurante Evo de Santi Santamaria. En estas cocinas aprende diferentes especialidades, como la cocina elaborada, de caza, de mercado, etc.

En octubre de 2009 emprende una nueva aventura en los fogones del restaurante Aurei, situado en el prestigioso Club de Mar en Palma de Mallorca.

Marc Canalis i Pellicer was born in Barcelona. He developed his love for cooking at the restaurant owned by his family called La Taberna del Mar in S'Agaro (Gerona), where the cuisine is based on fresh fish and seafood from the Mediterranean and Cantabrian, and the recipes remain loyal to the fishermen who created them. 

He then worked in prestigious restaurants with a Michelin star in Barcelona and San Sebastian, with Josep Bullich at La Dama, Jean Luis Neichel, and at Evo restaurant of the famous chef Santi Santamaria. It is in these kitchens where he learns different specialities, such as cooking with game, market cuisine etc

In October 2009 he embarks on a new adventure at Aurei Restaurant, located in the famous Club de Mar in Palma de Mallorca.
