La Tulipe Restaurant is well-known among residents and visitors to the island of Mallorca.
This is not surprising given that the restaurant was inaugurated 18 years ago in the village of S'Arraco by Brigitte Zwygart, of Swiss origin and the Italian René Bernasconi, also its head chef.
After nearly two decades in S'Arraco, Brigitte and René decided to make a move, and in March 2012 re-opened La Tulipe at the new location in Camp de Mar (near Andratx).
Over the years, long-standing clients have delighted in classic international dishes offered at La Tulipe. One of these dishes is the typical Swiss Stew with Rosti (the famous Swiss style toasted potatoes). All dishes are made from scratch using high quality ingredients and chef René has recently added a variety of succulent fish dishes to the menu.
The new venue at Camp de Mar also boasts a charming and comfortable open-air terrace to maximise the enjoyment of the balmy summer evenings in the Mediterranean.

Starters - Fish soup Corsican style; Sea bass with ‘remoulade' and potatoes; Sole with salad; Carpaccio of beef with radish vinaigrette
Main Courses - Leg of suckling lamb with potatoes 'Provençal'; Breast of quail with port wine sauce and celery mousse; Strips of veal 'Zurich-style' with Rösti; Fillet of beef with mushroom sauce and Rösti
Desserts - Coconut parfait; Homemade ‘crema catalana'; Mascarpone cream with black garlic
Groups of up to 25 people can be seated on the terrace. Set menu is required for groups of 15 or more people.
A careful selection which includes wines from the island and the Spanish mainland, as well as red wines from Italy. Champagnes and Cavas.
