Description
La Trencadora Restaurant in Pollensa is a typical Italian Trattoria and Pizzeria - and a great place for the whole family.

Few people know that the word 'trattoria' actually comes from the Italian word for 'tractor'. Originally a trattoria was a country house to which workers would come to have their lunch. They would park their tractors outside! La Trencadora maintains the same philosophy of the original trattorias; it serves good healthy food made using fresh natural produce, and at very reasonable prices.

The establishment is large but cosy, and the atmosphere has that informal and friendly Italian style; it is the ideal place to enjoy a traditional pizza, although there are some not so traditional varieties on offer too (La Trencadora serves whole meal pizzas and pizzas made using spinach dough for example), in short, there is a huge selection to choose from.

Also on offer are fresh pasta dishes, ecological meat and vegetables and fresh fish of the day; all lovingly prepared by Chef Marco Gallina, who in 2010 took over the running of La Trencadora and who will be known to many of his customers from Cantonet: his other restaurant in Pollensa.

Other facilities
The restaurant can cater for group meals and events both inside and outside on the terrace. The interior accommodates up to 80 people and the outside up to 120 people.

There are a variety of set menus available and prices start at €20 per person. For group reservations please book at least a month in advance, especially in the summer months.

Wine List
Varied selection of Spanish wines, some wines from the area of Pollensa and Italian wines.
