Cuisine • Mediterranean • Spanish Description La Cuchara on the Paseo Mallorca is a classic restaurant, offering Spanish food and specializing in 'cocina de cuchara' (traditional Spanish cuisine, eaten with a spoon), hence the name of the venue. Now under new management, John Calderón heads a team that aims to maintain the high standard La Cuchara is known for, and to extend its opening hours and services. For the most part, the dishes here are all made in house and are inspired from the region that covers Madrid to the Basque Country. The products, imported from their original source are always of a high quality. Decorated in wood motifs with checkered tablecloths, La Cuchara achieves a warm, friendly and informal setting. Apart from the very popular 'a la carte' dishes there are also daily suggestions on the blackboard.
