17 March          Manfred Kullmann with Palma Jazz Quartet
Geoff Frosell,trombone, Steve Bergendy, bass and Jaume Ginard drums complete the group which will play tunes from the Great American Songbook as well as tunes by Miles Davis, Cedar Walton, Duke Ellington, Dizzy Gillespie and original compositions by Manfred Kullmann.
 
24 March          Manfred Kullmann Trio with Miguel Ramon
The German pianist and composer Manfred Kullmann, with his many years of playing Jazz is going to offer us his interpretation of his favourite classical masterpieces by Beethoven, Liszt, C.P.E. and J.S. Bach, Chopin, Debussy as well as his own compositions.  He will be accompanied by saxophonist Miguel Ramon, double bassist Toni Cuenca and percussionist José Luis García.
 
31 March         Miguel Ángel Perikas with Palma Jazz Quartet
Pianist and singer Miguel Ángel Perikas makes a return visit to the Club.  Geoff Frosell,trombone, Steve Bergendy, bass and Jaume Ginard drums complete the group which will play Jazz and boogie woogie from the 1920´s,  as well as tunes from the Great American Songbook.

Jazz Night at Mood Beach in Costa D'en Blanes is destined to be the new top jazz venue in Mallorca. The Club, which has been going for just a month is already gaining popularity and regular audiences.

Every Thursday the Club opens its doors to the public at 20:00. The music, provided by the Palma Jazz Quartet starts at 21:00 and continues till 23:00.  In order to provide variety, the configuration of the Palma Jazz Quartet will vary week to week.  The members on any one Thursday are selected from a group of top international jazz musicians living in Mallorca, including Manfred Kullmann and Miguel Ángel Perikas on piano, Geoff Frosell on trombone, Miguel Ramon and Roger Machon on saxophones, Steve Bergendy and Toni Cuenca on double basses, and Jaume Ginard and José Luis Garcia on drums.

Entrance to the Jazz Club is 10€ per person which includes your first drink. Mood Beach Bar and Restaurant offers an “a la carte” or a fixed 3 course 'Jazz Menu' with quality wine for 28€.  (by the way, if you come to eat then the entrance charge is waived).
