Description
The Chef Macarena de Castro, owner of the family-run Jardin Restaurant in the Port of Alcudia, is considered to be the premier expert when it comes to applying new techniques to local Mallorcan products. Her recreation of traditional Mediterranean dishes has established her as the most creative and most valued Chef of the current gourmet scene.

Her innovative cuisine is revealed in the balanced tasting menu which she offers to her guests, made up of 3 starters, 5 main dishes and 3 desserts, 80% of which is fish and seafood; a strictly Mediterranean menu.

Daniel de Castro runs Jardín Restaurant together with his sister, Macarena, and they offer customers a unique gastronomic space in Mallorca through their dining room, wine cellar and cuisine.

The restaurant was opened to the public in 1996. This family business launched its own Catering branch in 2008 and more recently, in 2011, it also opened the Bistro of Jardin.

Directions
Take the road from Palma de Puerto de Alcudia. Once you have arrived in Puerto de Alcudia, take the exit towards the road to Arta. Two minutes away from here you will come across the front of a tall white building, on the upper level you should see a sign reading ASTORIA PLAYA, just before you get to this building, you need to turn left. 10 metres down this road, on your left, you will see the Bistro del Jardin. Jardin Restaurant is on the first floor above the Bistro. Access to the restaurant is through an exterior staircase. There is also a lift available for customers to use if they prefer. 
 
Average Price 
Tasting Menu consists of 3 starters, 5 main courses and 3 desserts: €70. Tasting Menu with room and breakfast at Hotel Condesa de la Bahia nearby: 100-120 € (depending on the season).

Cuisine prepared with high quality, local products. Menus tailored to different cuisines: Vegetarian, Vegan, Kosher (On request). For any specialization or adaptation please give advance notice.
