Description
At Genestar Restaurant in Alcúdia, owner and chef Joan Josep, or Juanjo as everyone calls him, invites you to come and enjoy this restaurant with a difference. Every day, Mallorcan born chef Juanjo creates an original 5 course menu offered at a very reasonable price. Experience this gastronomic adventure which combines traditional Mediterranean recipes with modern market cuisine - the result: fresh, tasty signature dishes with a big dose of creativity.

The setting is elegant, but cosy and very informal with a warm, efficient service. There are also other tasting menus as well as themed menus and a take away service available, so if you would like to enjoy a meal prepared by Juanjo at home.

Genestar Restaurant has been awarded a Bib Gourmand in the 2011 Michelin Guide.

Directions
Genestar is just next to the auditorium in Alcúdia, opposite the towers and the old city wall, in Plaza de Mallorca.
