Can Manolo Restaurant

I went with a friend of mine to Ca´n Manolo, C/ Federico Garcia Lorca, Palma, today, and had one of the most impressive Spanish gastronomic experiences ever!

These friends have been going there for some time, and rate it as one of their two best restaurants, together with Mercat, and not including their (and my) other favourite summer eatery, the Chiringuito on Cala Torta beach!

The fresh Pargo today was prepared to perfection and absolutely delicious!

It comes at a price (EUR50.00+ per person for the meal, which included a portion very good calamares a la romana to share, and a Mousse de Chocolate to share for dessert, a couple of cañas, a bottle of wine and a bottle of water), but very well worth it!

A definite place for me to impress guests to the island in the future.

The other great thing, is that all the patrons are local business, and political people, and not a tourist in sight!
