Description
Can Blau Restaurant is located within the Gran Hotel Soller and offers a Mediterranean, modern market cuisine of a high standard. Gourmet delicacies are creatively prepared by chef Javier Weil, which can be complemented with a fine wine from the well-stocked cellar.

Javier opts for a combination of simple dishes as well as more elaborate ones to satisfy all tastes. On the menu he also includes some traditional dishes which he has given a modern touch, such as the grilled prawns from Soller, an ever popular Mediterranean delicacy, and his novel version of the Carpaccio of Soller Prawns.

Dine in style in this grand building dating back to the 19th century, now modernised to provide a relaxing, sophisticated and modern environment for customers to enjoy a fine dining experience at very reasonable prices.

Open Air Barbeque in the garden every Friday night in Summer. Enjoy barbecued fish or meat with potatoes, vegetables or sausage from the Balearics all grilled on vegetable charcoals, and dessert. Price: €29 per person. The tunnel fare back will be reimbursed. (Prices include IVA)

Directions
Can Blau Restaurant at Gran Hotel Sóller, is just off the lower side of the central plaza of Soller. Follow the tram lines and you will see the hotel on your right.

Gran Hotel Sóller originally dates from the 19th Century.

This grand building in Sóller has been completely refurbished according to the standards of a five-star establishment.

It boasts 38 beautifully decorated rooms with all modern conveniences for the comfort and enjoyment of all guests.

Starters - Carpacccio of Soller prawns stuffed with chinese salad and vinaigrette; Scallops with a pesto and ginger emulsion, 'ramillete' tomatoes and a mixed salad; Grilled foie with crunchy aubergine raviolis and Ocumare chocolate

Fish and Meat Dishes - Oven-baked fillets of sea bass with a purée, vegetables and rocket oil; Tuna fillet with ratatouille terrine and an emulsion; Fillet Mignon of Iberian pig with a creamy liqourice rice, apple salad and a burnt honey juice; Sirloin steak on a bed of puff pastry with a port and foie reduction, served with truffled potatoes

Desserts - Apple tatin with vanilla ice cream; Chocolate couland with sorbet of Soller oranges (10 mins); Brownie with white chocolate ice cream and strawberries

Banqueting service for any private event or celebration for groups of 12 - 150 people in summer. In winter, we can accommodate a maximum of 140 people. The restaurant has a walk-in temperature controlled wine cellar with an ample selection of Spanish wines, from the main Wine of Origin regions like La Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Somontano, Priorato, Penédes and more... Cavas and Champagnes.
