Ca Na Toneta is a small and charming family restaurant in Caimari, a quiet village located at the foot of the Tramuntana mountain range. It is run by two sisters, Maria and Teresa Solivellas. The tasting menu that they offer changes every week to accommodate the seasonal produce which is organically grown in the family gardens.
Maria says: 'Everything we serve at Ca Na Toneta comes from this area. We work with small producers, farmers, fishermen, and ingredients that are organically produced on the islands. A the same time, we are guided by traditional Mallorcan recipes, and therefore our aim is, you could say, to offer a cuisine that has as short a journey as possible from the land to the table.'
At Ca Na Toneta restaurant, they make their own Olive Oil, Vinegar, Jams and Marmelades. Even the Olives are homegrown. While Maria does the cooking, Teresa ensures that the service is friendly and efficient. Add to all that Teresa's delicious home-made desserts and it's not surprising that clients keep coming back again and again. Maria also offers a home catering service for parties, weddings, and any other special celebration.
Coming into Caimari from Selva / Inca take the left turn up C/ Nostra Senyora de Lluc. Start to find parking. The next road off to the right is C/ Horitzo

Fresh and seasonal organic produce from the allotment. Local meats, and fresh fish from Alcudia. Make own Olive Oil, Vinegar, Jams and Marmelades. Homegrown Olives.
6 course Tasting Menu changes every week and consists of 2 appetizers, 1 starter, fish, meat and dessert. Price: 28 € per person (drinks and VAT are not included in the price). Menu can be adapted for vegetarians and coeliacs.

The set menu changes every week as it depends on what is available seasonally from the area and in the gardens. Organic produce is used.
Example of a Summer Menu: 'Oli i Agua' with figs; Mini Mallorcan 'Tumbet' with fried egg of quail; 'Coca' of courgette with goat's cheese and tapenade; Golden mackerel pie with fried peppers; Roast of lamb with cous cous; Apricot ice cream with carob brownie
Example of a Winter Menu: Mallorcan 'Sopas' with a poached egg; 'Rahola de Jonquillo'; Mallorcan 'Coca' of caramelized onions with 'bollets' mushrooms; Papillot of red mullet with vegetables served Mallorcan style; Black suckling pig with a tart pomegranate sauce; Semi-cold almond with hot chocolate
Groups of up to 40 people can be catered for in the restaurant (separate tables). Catering service available in your home - special dinners, weddings etc. Please call Maria for more infomation.
Wines from small family-run wineries, mostly of organic and biodynamic production in Mallorca and Spain that are not normally found in supermarkets.
