Wines with a true Mediterranean air about them
This family run winery is located in Muro, in the north of Mallorca, just behind the S'Albufera nature reserve. The vineyard is almost at sea level, a fact which lends it a very particular micro climate. It is precisely its special location near the sea and the Albufera nature reserve which makes it possible for this winery to produce wines which boast many unique qualities, and which are smooth, creamy and easy to drink. There is very little wine production in this area of the island, so Butxet wines really stand out; they are different to the rest of Mallorcan wines.

The Butxet winery combines climate, sun and the richness to be found in Mallorcan soil in a unique and passionate way in order to produce wines which are full of personality. Llorenç uses his passion for winemaking to create wines 'for people to enjoy', wines which are suitable for combining with good food. His effort and dedication has already been rewarded on various occasions though national and international prizes.
