BotArt, Muestra de Arte sobre botas de vino 

Con el objetivo de unir el mundo del vino con el arte, las Bodegas Ribas de Consell, Mallorca, han lanzado un nuevo proyecto con sorprendentes resultados. Una serie de artistas tanto locales como internacionales han tenido la oportunidad de intervenir de forma libre sobre las barricas usadas de la Bodega y así crear innovadoras obras de arte. Una forma diferente de dar a conocer a los artistas de las Islas Baleares donde la cultura del vino se hace de cada vez más importante. Este proyecto llamado BotArt tendrá lugar cada dos años y las propuestas se mostrarán en una exposición itinerante y en un catálogo. La exposición ya ha formado parte de la Feria Megavino de Bruselas y tiene previsto viajar a más ferias en Berlin, Londres, Asia y Estados Unidos entre otros.

BotArt, Exhibition of art on wine barrels

With the aim of uniting the world of wine and the world of art, the Ribas wine estate in Consell, Mallorca has initiated a new project with suprising results. A series of artists, both local and international have had the opportunity of using old wine barrels from the wine estate to create innovative works of art. A different way to promote artists from the Balearic Islands where the culture of wine is becoming ever more important. This project, called BotArt will take place every two years and the works will be exhibited in a travelling exhibition and in a catalogue. At the moment the exhibition has already visited the Megavino Fair in Brussels and it will also be travelling to other fairs in Berlin, London, Asia and the US amongst other places.
