Description
Meet Pepe Pintos: chef, artist and owner of his acclaimed restaurant, Pepe Pintos Cocinero, in Palma, Majorca. Pepe defines his style as 'modern home cooking'. His inspiration comes from traditional dishes, which he gives a modern Mediterranean touch, using seasonal products. He says with a smile: 'I want people to eat well and to feel comfortable and taken care of in this extension of my home. I like to paint a picture on the plates - to reflect that type of expression.' Pepe Pintos Cocinero (Cocinero means cook in Spanish) is an informal and welcoming venue. What stands out here? The chef himself and his delicious and artistic creations, found both on the plate and on the walls....

This event was announced as 'an opportunity to taste, and learn about wine pairing via respected personalities of the world'. Guests came from the United States, Brazil, Peru, Venezuela, Argentina, Mexico, Uruguay, Chile and Japan, among other countries. They lived for three days delighting their senses with the most outstanding wines, the luxury of a 5-star hotel and the talent of 41 chefs and sommeliers. They came to present their creations at exclusive luncheons, dinners and tastings both at the Hyatt and at various wine estates around Argentina.

Other facilities
Pepe can cater for groups of a maximum of 30-35 people in the restaurant with a set menu. Please book at least a week in advance. Groups of 8 or more people require a set menu. 



There is a catering service for any type of celebration or company event - Pepe prepares specially personalised meals right on the spot in the designated home, company or yacht.
 
Wine list
'The idea is to incorporate boutique wines.' The list is constantly evolving and includes a careful selection of Spanish wines and exclusively from the Argentinian cellar Dominio del Plata.

Chef
Pepe Pintos - Chef and Artist. His culinary career started in Argentina where he worked with catering companies, restaurants, and the magazine 'Cuisine & Vins'. He graduated with honours from the cooking school The Bue Trainers. Later he travelled to Italy and Switzerland to complete his training and worked at a variety of famous restaurants such as 'La Piazzetta' at the Hotel Concordia in the Plaza San Marco in Venice. He currently runs his own restaurant: Pepe Pintos Cocinero in Palma, Majorca, and offers a catering service. Apart from cooking, Pepe has another creative outlet: painting. The works of art displayed in the restaurant are all his.
