Johansens Directions Coming from Palma drive through the
village of Santa Maria until you see on your left a wine Bodega called 'Macia
Batle' where you turn left. Go over the railway lines and continue straight
until you reach a crossroads where you will see a sign for Read´s pointing
right. Follow the sign and you will see Read's on your left.

Majorca The Manor House which is now Read's Hotel, dates back
500 years and has been lovingly restored and decorated by the Read family to
what is now a small, very special luxury hotel for lovers of art and nature. It
is surrounded by landscaped gardens, boasts indoor and outdoor pools with sauna,
solarium, small gymnasium and Jacuzzi. There are 23 rooms, individually styled
and furnished to the very highest standard with heating, air conditioning,
satellite television with DVD player and high speed WI-FI internet connection.

Starters Salt cod with smoked aubergines, honey jelly and almond milk;
Smoked eel salad with new potatoes, artichokes, truffles and a fresh pea
vinaigrette; Fillet of hare with smokes rice, quince puree and walnut milk.
Main Courses Sea Bass with shellfish caramel, grape fruit gelee and
potato-caviar; Roasted duck with star anise, cacao and orange blossom; Braised
veal cheeks with pumpkin, black trumpet mushrooms and tonka bean essence.
Desserts Caramel and ginger cream with fresh pears; Lasagne of fresh
quince with a spiced icecream and liquorice toffee.

home, your yacht or, closer to home, to one of our private dining rooms.
Banqueting facilities for groups of up to 85 people at Read's Restaurant (Low
Season - November to March). Please check availability during the High Season
