La Gritta Restaurant in Cala Fornells (Paguera) is 'somewhat hidden, but when people find it, they never forget it' - so say Tomás and Juan who now manage it. La Gritta started offering Mediterranean and International cuisine in 1973, and since then practically everything is made on the premises using high quality products. Reyes Muñoz and Nicola Mura are the chefs here and they take a great deal of trouble and care to prepare home-made pastas and desserts, fresh fish, and the best cuts of succulent meats.
In addition to the delicious cuisine, the restaurant boasts incredible views of the ocean and the Bays of Paguera and Santa Ponsa - you might spot a few yachts during the day, or at night enjoy a romantic dinner by the silver glow of the full moon. At any rate, the motto here at restaurant La Gritta is to offer a very personalized and friendly service. No doubt once you find it, you'll want to come back again and again.
Coming from Palma, take the freeway towards Andratx - pass through the tunnel and take the 23rd Exit to Paguera (Cala Fornells), you will come to a roundabout - take the first right, towards Cala Fornells. After a while, you will come to a roundabout with a Supermarket on the corner - follow the road up the hill behind the supermarket until you get to Aldea II (at the top) - The entrance to La Gritta restaurant is on the left.

Number of seats
Two interior dining rooms with a capacity of 70 and 90 people max. There is also an exclusive porch for 30 people max. The outside terrace has a capacity for a max of 130 people.

La Gritta restaurant has a temperature controlled cellar with a careful selection of more than 100 different Spanish wines including wines from La Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Navarra, El Penédes, and of course, there is also and extensive offer of Mallorcan Wines and Cavas and Champagnes.
