Located in the Gran Hotel Soller of five stars, Can Blau
gourmet restaurant offers a Mediterranean, modern market cuisine of a high
standard. Gourmet delicacies are creatively prepared by chef Javier Weil,
complemented with a fine wine from the well-stocked cellar. Dine in style in
this grand building dating back to the 19th century, now modernised to provide a
relaxing, sophisticated and modern environment for customers to enjoy a fine
dining experience.
Directions
Can Blau, in the Gran Hotel Sóller, is just off the lower
side of the central plaza of Soller. Follow the tram lines and you will see the

19th Century. This grand building in Sóller has been renovated and completely
refurbished according to the standards of a 5-star establishment. It boasts 38
beautiful rooms with the most modern services for the comfort and enjoyment of
our guests.

Example Starters - Esqueixada of cod and lobster with tomato
and puree of black olives and tender onions; Sauteed mushrooms and seasonal
vegetables with a light Mahones cheese cream; Watercress salad with quail
marinated in 'escabeche' sauce
Main Courses - Red mullets on a vegetable pisto and fennel parmentier; John
Dory garnished with tender green peas, cured ham, wild mushrooms and potatoes;
Rack of lamb over black olives and polenta accompanied by sautéed spinach,
tomato relish and rosemary infused milk; Caramelised suckling pig served with
deep fried banana and green asparagus
Other facilities
Banqueting service for any private event or celebration for
groups of 12 - 150 people in summer. In winter, we can accommodate a maximum of
140 people. Special menus for weddings, anniversaries, parties and company
functions. Please call well in advance to check availability.
Wine list The
restaurant has a walk-in temperature controlled wine cellar with an ample
selection of Spanish wines, from the main Wine of Origin regions like La Rioja,
Ribera del Duero, Somontano, Priorato, Penédes and more... Cavas and
Champagnes.
